"As soon as i saw it in the magazine I knew I wanted it. I kept asking my parents. I received it for Christmas. It only took me 10 hours and 44 minutes. But it was well worth it. There are so many pieces you need to push down ever time you add really hard. But overall really fun."

An odyssey, but so worth it

"I have literally come onto the computer within three minutes of completing the set as I felt I had to congratulate Lego on the superb job they had done in creating this masterpiece. It took about 8-12 hours to complete, but every bit was exciting as you wondered what bit was going to go where and what you were creating next. The complicated structures turned into magnificent toys, (the lift in the middle, the superlaser, the tractor beam) and then you have the figures to go with it. It;'s the perfect thing to introduce my boys to Star Wars with, so thank you Lego. I have only rated it 4 on VFM at the minute, but I have not played with it yet, so may have to add on later!! Thank you Lego!!"

The magnificent Death Star.
Posted: November 1, 2009
"I have to say that when I first saw this set I was a little irratated since it did not have outside to make it look like the tradicional Death Star, but than I got to thinking that this is not really meant for that, the privious Death Star was. This one is about all the great scenes that the Death Star has and I must say Lego has done a magnificent job, I still wish they did have an outside as an option, and the hanger like the privious reviews have said could have been a bit bigger, but this set is great with the amount of minifigs and how rare many of them are and the rooms inside the Death are great I cant think of a room that it does not have and the size of the rooms are usually right on and also wonderfully replicated/ designed. It does cost a pretty penny though but this is the Death Star the largest man made structure in Star Wars so this is to be expected. Well I hope this review helped and I would defently recommend this set to a friend. it has very few con's and many pro's a set worth getting if you have the money."
