"Title says it all people. Not that I need to go on, but for the sake of you skeptics that can't decide whether or not to buy this, I will. To start, this set is a PHENOMENAL display piece! It is absolutely massive! The value is absurd in comparison to what lego sets are going of these days. If this set were priced at the average 10-12 cents per piece, It would cost over $400! The build time for me was 15 hours and it was an unforgettable experience. I will admit, it was sort of hard to construct, but only because the bags were not numbered. I would not count that against the set as I feel it only adds to the experience. If you are even thinking about getting this, then DO IT NOW!!! Even if for some stupid reason you don't like it after you've bought it, never fear! You will undoubtedly get your money's worth and then some on the aftermarket in a few years. Anyways, that's all from me. I hope this helped :)"
"As has been mentioned by many reviewers this kit does not have numbered bags. This results in the set being a starting pile of over 4000 mostly beige pieces. To me this isn't really a negative, but it does result in the set being more of a 3D jigsaw puzzle. I usually don't do much pre-sorting, but for this set I did some pre-sorting, mostly by color. I also kept the cheese wedges and some of the small pieces in separate containers. The end result of this pile of over 4000 standard Lego pieces is an almost breathtaking impression of the London Tower Bridge. Your patience in sorting through and assembling all of these little light beige pieces will be highly rewarded. The Tower Bridge, along with the Sydney Opera House are the only currently available large landmark structure kits. Other kits in this class are the Taj Mahal, Eiffel Tower, and Statue of Liberty, which are no longer available at retail. Needless to say if one is interested in these types of sets, it is better to purchase them when the sets are still available at retail list prices. I have heard a rumor that Lego is planning to produce a Big Ben Clock Tower kit. If this rumor is true, Big Ben and The Tower bridge will be a great paired set. Also, on a price per piece basis, the Tower Bridge is a bargain."

"The build is fun and the finished model is a great piece to display on the coffee table or mantle. At times during the build, there seem to be an infinite number of 1x1 bricks, but its totally worth it - the building wouldn't have that masonry look if they used larger bricks. Pictures don't do this model justice, that said, here are a couple of pics."

"Tower Bridge has been an absolute delight to build. I have never built with Lego before this year. Have plenty of experience with Duplo after a career of looking after children under 5, but this is something different, but very addictive. This is only my 3rd Lego build but found the instructions so explicit that no room for error. As others have pointed out the largest part of this is sorting out the 4000+ pieces as I also sort my kits into colour bricks before I start. I enjoy jigsaws and crosswords but these had been put to one side because of the enjoyment value of building Tower Bridge. Excellent product and although pricey well worth every penny."
