"I picked up this kit thinking it'd be a great addition to the F40 and VW T1. From the unpack I noticed the bag containing the wheels tires and other parts was missing for one and I had a doubling of one bag containing the windshield. And yes this model has the overlap issue (waiting on replacement parts from Denmark but they've been in warehouse for a week now according to Order Status). So as of right now it's incomplete, waiting on parts though but I might have to just go exchange it at the store partially built. I just have to say some QC is missing with this kit and yes it was in the newer box."

"Well designed. It was enjoyable building this set. As a grown up, I was able to observe the details and efforts the designer put on the product.
I suggested Lego to ship the right windshield to shops that are still selling the set. It was a bad experience when I couldn't finish building it after 4 hours.
However, Lego representative did a great job for followups. I received the right parts after a week and was able to finish the build."
I would recommend this to a friend!

"This is probably one of the best Lego sets I have built, its just so nice inside with the little picnic. It looks so cute, not to mention I have a 1962 mini cooper in green with the same colors interior and exterior!!!!!"
"This model car is perfectly whimsical and mature enough that I can display it on a nice floating shelf in my office without losing my credibility as a responsible business person. This is the car I have always wished I could drive, but never could in the States. I'm so happy that Lego went with the original Mini Cooper design, rather than the BMW version. I appreciate all the details, like the plaid upholstery and the picnic basket with baguette and cheese. The British Racing Green color is the greatest."
