"you might buy this number train as a first duplo train for your child... after few months you might want to buy some rails for this train, and then: surprise! this number train is not compatible with rails (point junctions too narrow) so its really a shame! you'd need to buy a set with new train made specially for rails"

"We bought this set for our then 21-month-old son when it first came out at the very end of 2012. He LOVED it then and still loves it and plays with it often now, at 2 years and 1 month. He already knew most of the numbers, but it helps him learn the ones he didn't know as well and practice the ones he knew well already. He also loves building other kinds of trains with the train bases and engine pieces that come with this set, using pieces from his other Duplo sets. It's a bonus that it comes with a little boy figure and a dog. He has so much fun with it and we have fun playing with it with him!"
