" This is a huge improvement to the original. It is extremely tall, so put it on top of the shelf. I love it "

" I like the Architecture theme, it's different to other themes in the sense the models are something you see in real life as well as in model form. As for this model of the Burj Khalifa, which is the world's tallest building Lego have made a point with this model by marketing it as the tallest Architecture structure and it doesn't disappoint, though not as wide or chunky as the Eiffel Tower, this model stands up tall and proud towering above my other Architecture models.
Play wise, like all others in this theme isn't great but don't forget that isn't the point of the Architecture theme, but I suppose it would make a great addition to any Lego City set! As for the price, I suppose it could be a little cheaper but I'm not complaining too much.

" The build of this model/ set was fun and it is a nice addition to the collection. I do think the value could have easily been $10 less. The overall size was larger than expected and I do recommend adding to the collection as you would not want to be without this piece. "

Response from LEGO:By Nicholas, Digital Product SpecialistLEGO® Consumer ServicesFebruary 12, 2016
Thanks so much for your feedback on your new Architecture set. I'm sorry to hear that you are not happy with the price. We try really hard to give LEGO fans as much information as possible before they buy our toys so that they know exactly what they're getting, including how big it is.

We also think it's important that LEGO toys are imaginative, creative, fun and last for ages! So we work really hard to make sure we use the very best materials so that one day you can pass on your sets to your grandchildren.

In fact we have a 28 point check list to make sure the quality and color of all our bricks are exactly right, and there are only 5 factories in the whole world which are good enough to make LEGO sets! We have a team of experts in Denmark whose job it is to invent and test new LEGO sets, themes and toys. They tell me it takes years to check everything. They need to test all the new ideas, talk to the factory about how to make them, work out what sort of box it needs to go in and then deliver the new sets to all the shops in 140 countries!

As you can see, a lot of thought goes into your toys so I hope you understand we invent and make LEGO sets to last a lifetime, or even longer!

I'll certainly be happy to forward your comments along.

Thanks again!
