"I bought this set for parts that I intended to use on my own creations. The parts in this set are very good, lots of plates, ball & hinge pieces, SNOT pieces and other rare bricks. The colours are mostly a variety of red but that's stating the obvious :-P
As for the sets themselves, being experienced with these 3-in-1 sets, I always make the smaller one first and finish with the biggest one...
The Scorpion and the Snake - Not a fan of these personally, but I can see their appeal. Both look menacing if that's what you want. They have great articulation on their limbs and the snakes head in particular stands out for its design. Criticisms would be the frailty of the builds, not flimsy but would appear so, in other words, a little on the "thin" side.
The Dragon - This was fantastic. It matches the menace, exceeds the manoeuvrability and has a sturdier look than the other two builds.
Having bought this for parts, the Dragon now sits on display so I'm happy with this purchase even if it's not the end result I planned."

"If you are looking for great lego value for the money, this is where it is at! All three of the creatures are awesome! My daughter loves to play with the snake. My personal favorite is the dragon's head. There are great rotational movement pieces as well as many hinge type pieces. This set is great for both types of builders: instruction following or creative."
