"The Heartlake Grand Hotel was a Christmas present to me, and I was very excited when I opened it!! It took a while to build, and I had a little bit of trouble with the elevator, but soon figured it out. The hotel has nice detail, and is very large in size, which is very good. The characters where nicely designed, and I love the taxicab! Very nice purchase overall."

"My 7 year old daughter loved this set. She got it as a surprise for Christmas and I can tell you the look on her face was amazing when she saw it. She got stuck straight into it and opened the 1st of 11 bags, I was fully expecting to have to help a bit as she had only had 2 small sets of Lego up till then and mostly played freestyle with no instructions but she got on so well with it and only asked for me to put the stickers on for her as she said "they are on forever and I don't want to get it wrong" . Everything else she did herself over 3 days, following the very detailed instructions, she really didn't want to do much else in that time, she was so excited to see it taking shape. I was very impressed with the details, like the cheese dome, drinks, pastries, lipstick, perfume, hairbrush etc. The rooms are really cute and well thought out with one even having a toilet, which we thought was funny. The working elevator is great too and the extras like the piano bar, the tables and chairs, the fountain etc are excellent. My daughter loves it and some of her brothers Lego ninjago have even come to stay."

"This set has everything. Lego master builders really put their heads together for this Lego Friends set, even my son wants this set. My daughter plays for hours with her Lego Friends. Now, her brother brings out his Lego city sets and plays for hours right along with her. He even wants lego to create a Lego City Hotel but until then he created one himself."
