LEGO Pirates: Brickbeard's Bounty

Avast, me hearties! With firing cannons and a mermaid on the prow, the famous pirate ship Brickbeard's Bounty is sailing the Seven Seas in search of adventure and gold. Will the pirates make the Admiral's daughter walk the plank into shark-filled waters, or will the soldiers rescue her and capture the pirates' treasure? The action never stops with 3 pull-action cannons, removable captains quarters, walk the plank feature and more! Includes 4 pirates, 2 soldier's, Admiral's daughter, monkey, shark and mermaid! Ship measures 22" (56cm) long and over 17" (44cm) tall!

WAAAAAAAAYYYY too expensive

"It looks great with detail and all but it is way too expensive it only has 592 peices for $100.
Needs more men detail below deck and in cabin, more cannons, not forgeting a price of 70 - 85.

Not Bad

"Overall, Blackbeard's Bounty is a pretty good set. It has working cannon, and a wide variety of pirates and Soldiers. Although I cannot help but feel that it is too small. For $100, it has a relatively poor piece-price ratio, and, aside from the top deck, there is almost nothing inside of the ship itself. A better price would have been $10 to $20 cheaper. Aside from that, it is a great Lego set, and very fun to use. I would recommend it, if you have the money."

Welcome back, me hearties!

"I was one of the first people to get this set, and let me say that the captain is one rich Pirate! He has golden doorknobs. Show-off. I like that there are a lot of figs, but it could use at least one more pirate. It is incredibly- no, AMAZINGLY detailed and has lots of different functions- a great Christmas present for young boys who like to use their hands! The only cons are the pieces- one of the worst piece/price ratios I've ever seen; there is NO interior in the cabin or below deck; could use another cannon or two; and the deck looks slightly unfinished. But the pros definitely outweigh the cons, so this is a great set!"

"Wow! this sets is flat out cool. I have been waiting for a long time for Lego to come out with Pirate lego sets and now that they have I can't wait to get them all! This ship has so much detail to it and the soldiers look really cool too. The sails give a a realistic look and the shark just gives it the final perfect touch. The price is a little much but it is well worth it in the end."

"I absolutely love this set. The features are amazing, and if I had children, I still wouldn't let them play with it as I'd be having too much fun!"
