"My son is still too young for this, so I got this set for myself to relive my childhood a bit. I used to play with Lego castle sets, and this looked like the closest thing in stores right now. This thing is just incredible. All the functional moving parts are impressive: the working Lego guns, moving turrets, functional treads, and the mechanism to open it up are. The way the drawbridge functions is genius compared to my old string-based ones. The set is about double the number of pieces I used to get in even the largest castles, which makes sense given the intricacy of all the parts. The pictures don't even do it justice because there's so much you can't see from just one angle. I'm looking forward to what's next for the Nexo Knights!"
"this is a great product and series. I have been building for years and this is a set my children and I all enjoy. With a training dummy, kitchen, vehicles, and weapons it allows for hours of fun and all sorts of different types of play. With the ability to be added to Merlot 2.0 library set increases the fun even more."
I would recommend this to a friend!

"In case you would have your reservations on the Nexo Knights franchise, I can confirm to you that you'll love them. The likability of the characters as well as the detail of the set make this an instant-classic.
And then I didn't even mention just how fun the build is. Did this together with my son who is almost 5 years old. Although clearly too difficult for him to build alone, the way the set came to be brought us hours of fun in which he relentlessly wanted to do as much of the building himself.
Then there's the iPad app Merlok 2.0 that even extends the building pleasure into the digital realm, and lets you scan your Nexo knights shields for extra powers. The app itself quickly becomes a tad too difficult for smaller kids, but that doesn't affect in any way a top class set in a new and exciting universe.
Because the characters are that distinct, I could see this gaining momentum and would advise Lego to deepen the already existing Nexo Knights characters over adding many more.
Thanks Lego designers (hardware and software) for an excellent product!"
