"Lavaria was my first Nexo Knight set, and is an awesome figure. Her 4-legged vehicle thing makes her even cooler. The only question is whether the set is a good value, especially because I just toss the display pieces in a bag for spare parts. Lavaria stands perfectly well on her own, so there's no need for anything to put her on, especially if you're going to have kids playing with her. That all being said, I still do recommend the set to Nexo Knights fans. As I got more sets, I realized that the bad guys need all the help they can get against the might of the Fortrex.
I would also add that the reason I got Lavaria first is because, like others, I want to support having an equal number of female characters. I don't think her being a woman in any way makes her less cool for a boy."
"This set has many great pieces that I intend to use elsewhere. EXCEPT that rock piece wedge--as much as I love transparent orange, I can't imagine how I'd ever use that piece elsewhere and much prefer the silver wedge piece included in the protagonist sets.
I like the minifigure in this set. It was thoughtful of the set designers to include a standard set of legs for better play value. I always try to buy female minifigures to encourage The LEGO Company to produce more until we can get minifigure gender equality.
I like the Incinerate shield included in this set, but I'm disappointed with the way it levels up with repeated scans. The ability IS more powerful with repeated scans, but it also takes significantly longer to charge up before you can use it, and has a significantly longer "cool down" time between when the ability stops working and when you can select any other ability. Basically, all the waiting and scanning doesn't translate to much benefit in the game."
