"This set is one of the best of the castle series. I have had many hours of enjoyment with this great set.
THE BUILD
The build is devided into two sections, the outpost tower and the seige machine. Both are fairly simple builds, each contained in its own manual. Basically you will be building bottoms up, with many standard block like pieces.
THE MINIFIGURES
This set includes five minifigures which is a lot for a 30 dollar set. The minifigures are a troll leader, prisoner troll, warrior troll, archer and swordsmen. The two knights are very nice and I love the crossbow accessory. The king has and awsome chestplate and gold helmet.
THE SIEGE MACHINE
The siege machine is the reason I bought the set. I use to have the Knights series lord Vladaks siege machine, and I say this tops it by far. The bottom floor contains a bull headed battering ram which with the robberband works magnifisantly. The second floor contains a plattform which launches onto the Tower, ans the top floor is a heavily armored area for the leader, the chains are a nice touch as well.
THE TOWER
The tower/outpost is a nice touch to this great set. on the bottom floor is a wall which when hit with the battering ram, caves in to releasr to floor boards and the prisoner. The second floor has an axe, and a table with a gold nugget for the trolls to steal, and the top floor has flick fire missiles which if pushed hard enough, work flawlessly.
