"I finally took the plunge and bought this kit for my birthday and I am extremely happy with it. The instructions were perfect, but I did wait until I was finished to open the bags of tools for the garage and the pots and pans for the kitchen, so they are more likely to stay with the house."

"I've been building LEGO sets as long as I can remember, this set is a step up from everything I've built. This is not an easy set to make unless you have patience and a blank agenda. I actually never played with this set but made a stop motion film with it, now I use it as a display piece on my shelf. Overall It's a great build but It's not really for kids unless It's a family building session thing."

"The Simpson's House set is really good and comes with great directions! I'm loving making it so far. My two small criticisms would be the facial features of Lisa and Homer. Lisa looks too stressed out to leave her room and Homer looks bored (I know he is a lazy character but I think his expression just doesn't fit this set. I'd rather have a d'oh! look or glazed stare than his half interested expression) I think neutral faces would have been a good choice. Also I think it is interesting that you have Marge gardening. It isn't something that she is really known for. She is much more involved in cooking and baking so I would have loved to see some of her creations incorporated into the set eg. the three eyed fish (2.17), dessert dogs (16.2), Christmas themed cookies (9.10) etc. For the rest of the set: I LOVE the detail put into the house-specifics such as Bart's hat in his room, iconic pictures/posters/couch/tv, the use of "Property of Ned Flanders" (a great touch!) and the dent in the Simpson's car. Overall an excellent set!! If the prices were a bit lower I would love to try out the quik-e-mart set! Shelling out $500 for two sets is a bit much for me right now so I'm keeping my eye out for future deals. Thank-you for all of the hard work you put into making this set!! It shows :D"
