"The Ghostbusters Level Pack is my favorite one so far, besides Doctor Who of course! I think this a great level because it stays true to the movies but still keeps in the spirit of a Lego game. I LOVE that they used the actors voices from the movies and did not try to recreate them. The play in the level is smooth and has many things to keep you occupied. I found myself saying all the lines from the movies along with the characters.
I loved going into the Firehouse and being able to do a side quest for Vigo. The levels were not impossible to figure out and it was all very clever. It has many secrets and easter eggs that have to do with the movies. As a huge Ghostbuster fan, I was pleased with the job Lego did in making it amusing and put those things in there.
The mini fig is adorable! The Ecto-1 is cute! Both great looking builds. However the ghost trap has given me frustrations. It seems like every time I use my proton pack to trap ghosts, the ghost trap isn't close by. I try to use the technique of picking the trap up off the game pad and quickly placing it back, but sometimes it won't bring the trap to me and I have to go find it. Then you have to pick it up and take it to the captured ghosts to get them to go into the trap. When I would move the piece around the pad a lot, the top part of the trap would fall off the bottom part. It grew tiresome after a while. However, the next time I logged in, it worked fine again.
Despite that, I REALLY enjoy this Level Pack. I think it's worth the money and the time to play. I was singing and humming along to all the upbeat music the whole time! HIGHLY recommend."
"I like the Ghostbusters franchise, and have enjoyed the extended gameplay, but it feels like this set design was focused on having to have a character/vehicle/gadget combo for a level set and and not designed with the idea of "how can we make this fun game play." Specifically, having to collect ghosts with the characters' proton packs, having to stop, find or summon the ghost trap, pick it up and carry it close to, but no TOO close to the captured swarm and drop it underneath. I fully upgraded the ghost trap in game hoping that one of the perks would be a "follower" AI that would sense when you're collecting ghosts with the proton pack and move the trap to where it is needed. Unfortunately, the trapping process continues to be tedious.
The Dr Peter Venkman minifig in this set has well done detailed arm prints that are not included in the 21108 Ghostbusters ECTO1 set. Dr Venkman also has a different/nicer hairpiece in this set.
The mini ECTO1 included in this set is a cute model. It amuses me that it has a slider rather than back wheels, and I like the idea of figuring out how the back wheels are attached to the inside of the vehicle on the in-game model.
I have nothing positive to say about the ghost trap, as it is a torn in my side during game play."

"Fun level pack,reminded me a bit of the Ghostbusters ps3 game. The ghost trapping is nice and simple,Dr.Venckman has some good moves,lots of movie lines,a little artistic license taken.....Definitely worth buying,I played the Ghostbuster level which took 2 hours or so,a little minigame in itself,considering how quickly some games can be beaten. I'll get to Ghostbuster world later,a super item for anyone,and if you are a movie fan,even better."
