"Honestly, I bought the set primarily for the builds which are pretty great: the Arcade cabinet is a nice little model with cool printed pieces--a really fun thing to add to your modulars and MOCs. And while I don't care for micros, I do like the way the Spy Hunter model turned out as well. The minifig is nice with a can of pop and some coins thrown in for good measure.
As a video game, the level expansion is a mixed bag. Time Warner does have the full rights to Midway, so you are more or less getting these retro arcade games emulated off the original ROMs. However, due to the market aimed for Lego, you do not get the decidedly non-Lego friendly properties like APB and Mortal Kombat, and it's questionable whether the young audiences will really appreciate the old games as the presentation and gameplay are not what the iPad/Wii/Xbox/PS initiated are used to. Finally, I always question when game designers of open world games force you to unlock museum-style titles like this. Overall, I'd recommend this mainly for the actual Legos more than anything else, although retro fans will enjoy the expansion."
"This level pack is ok with the builds because you get a Gamer Kid aka Gamin ''gamer' which is a cool figure who has a coke in one hand and a coin in the other to play the Arcade Machine which is a good little build I really like the G-6155 Spy Hunter and it brings alot of memories when I used to play the old Spy Hunter game alot. The level itself is very challenging I understand you have to complete those retro games to complete the level but some are very and extremely difficult and they play just like the originals I understand some people will like this level pack with some of the old retro games some are easy some are not but overall it's still a fun but very challenging level pack."
I would recommend this to a friend!

"Up until this Level Pack I have very much enjoyed, I daresay loved Dimensions despite it's little technical quirks (lockups, chars and vehicles sticking). This level pack is a disappointment. I am running on and Xbox 360 and the controls are way too sensitive for some of the arcade games. Unfortunately you cannot complete the level with out finishing one of the arcade games (racetrack game) which I cannot control well enough to get around the track fast enough to win (I even played enough to get 10k points but no credit). I only wish I could return it. The Lego models are cool though. All the other Level packs are worth the purchase. Midway, even at 50%, is a waste of money IMO"

"The level pack is what this review is based on, the mini figure, car and arcade machine are all fine, but where this comes undone is the actual level, its just a confusing mess and is definitely the lowest point of Dimensions. I remember the retro games available here and they are best left in the past, utterly unplayable by todays standards."

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with this expansion pack with us. Whether it's good or bad it's important to hear what our customers have to say about this product. Many fans of the classic game systems have been asking for a LEGO video game integration for a while, so it's disheartening to hear that you were not satisfied with the related content we produced.
nevertheless I will be sure to forward your comments on to the team in charge of that area.
