" The Clone Wars is one of my favorite parts of Star Wars lore, so I try to jump on any set with Troopers, Battle Droids, Mechs, and Vehicles, to diversify battle scenes.
This set was great! The Clone Trooper is generic, but the first one of the aqua color I've come across, and a few extra super battle droid figures help my battles look more authentic. The real key here is the mech itself.
The Hailfire Droid is awesome. It's mobile on flat, rocky, or carpeted surfaces, and the amount of firepower it packs is pretty huge!
Pros:
+ Great Mobility
+ Lots of laser missiles to fire
+ Very authentic; mechanisms for movement well hidden behind details.
+ I'm a sucker for aqua-blue, so the trooper minifig is awesome.
Cons:
- Nothing, really.
I would recommend this to collectors and kids alike. "

" Nice set and I got this for my birthday so I could complete my 2013 Geonosis battle. This set would have been even better had it been £10 cheaper. Sadly, this set makes the exclusive Clone captain minifigure un-exclusive. Overall a decent set and I would recommend to any Star wars fan. "

" Threw Yet another Chemotherapy treatment I put this together, it was fun and took a relatively short time for me to put together, it was a interesting experience tracking this set down... it was 2x the price at walmart then it was at target,
I must admit I bought it for the blue clone lieutenant

" When I heard that LEGO was remaking this set again, I was super excited. This was one of my favorite vehicles from Attack of The Clones, and I did not get the old version of this set, which only added to my excitement. Unfortunately, this set was not as promising as I ha hoped. Now, don't get me wrong, I still think this set is a pretty decent set, but looking at the picture of the old 2007 set compared to this set actually built, the 2007 version still looks much better. Anyway, onto the set. The set is very small, which is a bit of a disappointment. I would've rather had a $30, maybe even $40, set made out of this, instead of a $20 set with only 163 pieces. Anyhow, enough with all the negatives. I do like the playability with this set, with the movable wheels and and firing spring-loaded shooter. Now onto the minifigs. We get 2 super battle droids, which we all have a ton of. I really would've loved a new version of the super battle droid, with the red dot that super battle droids have in their chests. Unfortunately, that did not happen. The second figure we get is a new version of the clone lieutenant. Now, I know that a lot of people are mad and upset with it, due to the clone lieutenant's inclusion in the 2013 polybag, but for someone who didn't get the polybag, I'm super glad that this figure made it into this set. Also, this version is, at least in my opinion, a better version of the old figure, as this new figure has leg printing. Now to my overall thoughts. Overall, if you have the old version of this set, I would pass on this set, especially if you have the 2013 polybag clone lieutenant. However, if you're like me and don't own the old version of this set or the polybag, I still, even though I feel as though this is a lackluster set, would recommend this set, especially if this set goes on sale for $15.
