"This was a great set to build with three stages and and two key parts, it meant you could spread the build out over a couple of days if you wanted to.
The minifigures are good, especially Iron Spiders extra arms which can be moved to hold onto things. Sandmans 'sand' colour was a little off at first, but when combined with the scenery, made perfect sense and blended in.
First Build - Rhino Suit; Building the Rhino exo-suit was straight forward but well thought out, keeping to the idea of it being to offer strength and intimidation rather than to be a full battle suit (like the Hulk Buster) Standing at about a 2/3 the size of hulk buster this suit was still a fair size, especially when stood next to an ordinary minifigure. the arms and legs are fully possible, and the addition of stud shooters on the hands was good, resembling the toes of actual rhino feet
Second Build - Battle ground Scenery: Split into two parts, and combined later, this was also good to build and surprisingly large when assembled. with a width of about 30cm and the crane height at about 15cm there is a lot of area to play with. Again, simple to build but interesting to see it all take shape. The way this set was designed to integrate Sandmans abilities of being able to manipulate the surrounding sand element was very well done, with two large hands grabbing out at Spiderman and Iron Spider, as well as Sandmans pile set high to give him a good vantage point for attacking, all making for a great play and display set.
> The only tricky part for this build was getting the stickers on just right, and there were quite a few!
Overall, well worth getting, especially if you are trying to build a Lego city or town. Lot's of fun to be had with this set"
"This set is awesome, with so much play features u can take this set to the next level of imagination! Honestly I don't know why people are giving this set so much hate I mean the reused head pieces, the rhino mech not being a big fig, and the set itself but personally I think this set is great for kids its fun and can leave u with more action each time u play! trust me guys this set may not be the best but its really good for kids. that's just my opinion guys and be sure to check out my other lego reviews and as always have a great week"

"The Sandman and Rhino super villain team up was both and exciting to build. I enjoy this set for several reasons. first and foremost we get two new villains and two new versions of spider-man himself. seeing that this set is based on ultimate spider-man I understand why they chose to use the mechanical suit. I'd still prefer to get a big fig somewhere down the line and I think I'd like to see sand man return as well but wearing his traditional dark brown pants instead. I love both the spider-man and iron spider minifigs and the molded boots on spider-man bring him closer to feeling like the comic book. As for the actual set I highly recommend combing this set with both the avengers tower and daily bugle sets if you can. along with some grey plates and streets you can create a fantastic downtown marvel new york feel. I'm also considering getting some of the creator sets and lego city sets to create a superhero city for these wonderful characters to do battle in. In the future I'd like to see lego include in the instructions a proper how to on attaching and detaching the super jumper to prevent any damage to the mini figs. I have found that squeezing the super jumper while removing the legs has been the safest method. All in all its still a fun set and i highly recommend it."
