"My son fell madly in love with this accessory set at the store and chose it as his one thing, despite my not seeing much in there that he doesn't already have.
I accept that he has a better eye for detail than I do though, and these guys do seem to have different uniforms and the helmets are different from those we have from the police station, canine unit, mobile crime unit sets. They are SWAT-style, but there is no other gear of that type which is what would make this set a real winner--riot shields, batons, a vest for the dog?
The metal detector is fairly unique, but the helmets aren't durable--the face shields don't fit in very well and kept falling out of their track pits and my very careful child actually lost one within the first two hours of play (we looked everywhere, but those are hard to spot) so spare faceshields would be a good idea."

"I got this set for my son as he wanted more police officers and it is a fine set for expanding your population. My only complaint is when compared to "Police Minifigure Collection" set #7279 it isn't a good value. This set provides 4 mini figures, a dog, and a bunch of equipment for them while #7279 provides 4 mini figures, a dog, and less equipment but comes with an ATM and police ATV all while costing less."
