"I was curious upon buying this just how much 'work' would be required for the jewelery to be functional. Was pleasantly surprised to find that very little was needed for the overall bracelet construction, but there was an element of it required to 1) put the bracelet on by looping the twin end pieces through the hoop & back through the bracelet sides, and 2) adjust the length of the necklace (its original fit seems to hang a bit too long). Once you get through these you're free to enjoy the set as it was meant to be. The instructions are simple (only four pages), assembled nicely as a butterfly-shaped booklet. The pieces all stay on well with the exception of the doggy bone; it's probably best to avoid if wearing the bracelet out since it can pop off easily.
This is a great buy for any LEGO Friends fan, but I will say this: if you are a parent buying for the child, they will need your help to get these things sorted out the 1st time. Honestly it was even a little challenging for myself, but I found a sincere appreciation in being presented with the challenge and overcoming it :) In the future I hope to see more things like this come out for the other Lego themes targeted towards girls! This was nice but definitely had some points for improvement."
