"We ordered this for our son for Christmas this year, with a set of tracks, as well as the other necessary parts to retrofit the Hogwarts Express into a motorized train. He loves it, and totally enjoyed rebuilding the train. I would recommend this for anyone with a Lego loving child that has bins of half-built Lego sets...it gave new life to something he wasn't really interested in anymore. We are also VERY impressed with the speed that our order was delivered."

"It's well built and reliable, just still looks it has ancient technology so Lego could think of getting new motorised systems for the future.
I works fine but still on batteries.
The Horizon Express train CREATOR EXPERT SET doesn't come with power functions included so had to buy it.
I found it too expensive, you could have made a Pack set for this and all other equipment with the train above mentioned."
"Not only is this remote control good for trains, but it is also useful for RC cars, as well. This remote makes the steering more realistic, and it feels comfortable to hold. It's time to push the pedal to the metal with the the RC Speed Remote Control! Let us all hope that LEGO continues with Power Functions."
