We're sorry to hear you're having trouble with your new LEGO® Power Functions elements! Our first piece of advice would be to double check that the IR Receiver and the Remote Control are on the same channel. You can change it by moving the orange switch on both elements up or down. If you put them both on channel 1, they should be able to communicate with eachother! If you're still having problems, just give our Consumer Services department a call -- one of our advisors would be happy to help!

" I ordered 3 of the power functions for my son for Christmas. Couldn't get this one to work, phoned the help line; turns out Duracell brand batteries tend not to work in Lego battery-powered items. Switched to another brand and voila, works like a charm! "

" Technically bought it for myself but know it's really going into the family mix to be shared by all. Will complement the 8879 variable remote well. Hm, gonna need another receiver now... "
