" I have mixed feelings about this set. On the one hand, the speeder is fantastic and looks really great, but on the other hand, I can't understand why LEGO decided to make an Assassin Droid pack opposed to just a normal Battle and/ or Super Battle Droid pack. Assassin Droids tend to be Bounty Hunters, and they aren't the main Republic enemies. I bought quite a few Clone battle Packs, but only one of these, becuase I don't want an army of random bouty hunters and assassins. My idea of a pack to counter the Clones would be two Super Battle Droids, two or three Droids, a speeder and a Droideka. I would even be content with a squad of Commando Droids, who have fought the Clones in a few Clone Wars episodes.
THE MINIFIGURES
Obviously, I'm not happy with the choice of minifigures, but, once putting this behind me, I am still happy with what I got. LEGO have been generous, giving us five Assassin Droids - 2 black, 3 silver. Their eguipment is good too, with two bigger guns which I like to think are their sniper rifles and three normal guns as well.
THE SPEEDER
I was very impressed with the speeder, which sports a very sleek design and rare dark blue colours. I can't help noticing this is the same colour scheme as all the Clone Wars Separatist sets. The gun emplacements for the Droids are cool and the moulded rear side pieces are a nice addition. Furthermore, the speeder runs well along the ground and finally, the purple flick missiles actually work pretty well.
THE PRICE
The set seems to be priced well, at £10 for 94 pieces, but in fact, seven pieces go into each Assassin Droid + one for the gun, which makes eight. So 40 pieces are used on the minifigures and their weapons, meaning that a mere 54 pieces actually make the speeder. Therefore, I think this set, like many other new Star Wars sets, is priced at more than it is worth, and it would be made better by an extra element, such as a turret. But as it is still cheep, this isn't the biggest of issues.
OVERALL
The Pros:
- Quite a few good, rare minifigures
- Sleek speeder design
- Rare elements, pieces and colours on the speeder.
- Speeder is smooth
- Flick missiles work!
The Cons:
- The minifigures just don't fit the set description. Should have Battle Droids or Commando Droids to fight Clones, not Assassins.
- Overpriced: half the piecs make up the minifigs!
- Needs something extra to accompany speeder.
So, if you want a lot of Assassin Droids, buy this set, but if you want big battles between Droids and Clones, get one of these but wait until a BATTLE Droid pack ir released. But don't get me wrong- the speeder is cool, and I would still recommend this set to any Star Wars or LEGO fan!
Sorry about the essay, and I hope this review has been helpful!

" This set is just brilliant. It is priced perfectly (for once this year, LEGO have actually got the pricing of a Star Wars set spot on!), it looks fantastic, the minifigures are great, and you can recreate that classic moment fin Mos Eisley from A New Hope.
THE MINIFIGURES
So, the minifigures - all exclusive and look great!
Firstly, Luke and Ben Kenobi - they look accurate and this is the only cheep was to get hold of them at the moment (The Death Star is £275!) Secondly, the Stormtrooper - An ordinary trooper, except for the lovely little shoulder strap addition given to Sand-troopers and the pack on his back!
Then we have the Droids. The security Droid is an accurate little figure. The newly designed R2-D2 for the classic series looks great as usual, but the highlight for me is C-3PO, becuase this is the only set since all the sets from Jabba's Palace that gives you a CHEEP Threepio - you have to pay £100 + for any over set like the Tantive IV, the Old Millenium Falcon, the Death Star and so on, so it was a joy when I saw the picture of him on the LEGO page on this set.
THE LANDSPEEDER
What you first notice about this set when it's finished is that it's actually quite big - much bigger than the original version back in 1999. After the red colour scheme of the last Landspeeder, LEGO have got the colour spot on this time - a dark beige colour with a little of grey and crimson. The cockpit and engine pieces are rare and are very movie-accurate. The side plating at the front is perfect too.
THE OTHER STUFF
Like I said, the pricing is perfect, because the size and the amount of pieces correspond perfectly with the £24.99 price tag. Also, the build is straightforward and quick, making it a good set for beginners. And the pieces are all rare colours, which is another plus.
OVERALL:
Pros:
C-3PO, Ben Kenobi and episode 4 Luke in a cheep set.
Other minifiures are really good too.
The landspeeder is quite big
It is very movie accurate
Great colour scheme and detail
Good engine, cockpit and side-plating pieces
Perfectly priced!
Easy build
Rare Pieces and elements
Cons:
Not a single con! Wow That is a first for me!
BUY THIS SET because it is such a classic set with the minifigures, the price and the playibility. LEGO have been doing fantastically with all their classic trilogy sets and I hope, as does everyone, that they continue the good work and try and renew their contract so that they can produce Star Wars beyond 2011!
10/10 for this set! I hope this review has been helpful!

" This set contains three rare minifigures that are definitely worth their £9 price tag. The faces are detailed, accurate and realistic. Buy this set if you would like rare minifigures without having to pay £130!
I have noticed that LEGO have been releasing many Astromech figures in Jedi and Republic lately: R7-A7, R7-F5 and R4-P44, but I already have similar sets and would not really want to pay £100 for three Astromechs. However, the droids all look very detailed and accurate so I wonder whether LEGO could somehow develop a magnet set with these three Astromechs so they can be obtained separately. Thanks LEGO! "

LEGO Star Wars Clone Wars - Corporate Alliance Tank Droid
LEGO Star Wars Clone Wars - Corporate Alliance Tank Droid
With their rotating center treads and double laser blasters, these armed and armored Separatist droids fight in battle after battle during the Clone Wars. Even a special squad of clone troopers with rocket packs may not be enough to stop them this time! Features flick-launching missiles and clone trooper catapult for "flying" action. Includes 2 Battle Droid and 2 Jet-Pack Clone Trooper minifigures. Includes 4 minifigures: 2 Battle Droid and 2 jet-pack equipped Clone Troopers Features tracks that move and flick fire missiles! Corporate Alliance Tank Droid measures 6.5" (17cm) long

" The Corporate Alliance Tank Droid is great in every respect except, as is becoming increasingly the case, THE PRICE!!!!!!!!!
THE MINIFIGURES:
The Two Droids are a welcome edition to any Seperatist army. And as for the Clones - what can I say?! The Jetpacks are more detailed than I thought they would be and if you use some string and a gun, you can recreate them flying! Great minifigs then.
THE TANK
This tank is easy to build, bar the treads, which are tedious and take a while to put together, but it is worth the effort. The tank is a huge inprovement on the tank Droid in 2005, which I didn't buy because of its weird colour scheme. This time, LEGO have got the colours, the scale and the looks absolutely spot on. The treads work on carpets and rough surfaces, but not on smooth surfaces, but that isn't really an inconvenience.
OTHER COMMENTS
The set is overpriced - it should only be £15, not £20, end of... Also, the catapult to fling the Clones isn't really that effective.
RECAP
PROS
Minifigures are great
Tank looks brilliant
Treads work on carpets and rough surfaces
More or less easy to build
CONS
The catapult doesn't work very well.
Overpriced.
Overall, a great set, if you are patient enough to make the treads and are willing to pay a few pounds extra than what it's worth. But buy it because the minifigures are great and the tank looks fab! Just make sure you have a lot of carpets in your house!... "

" This has got to be my favourite non-Star Wars purchase yet! This set has it all: A clear instruction manual, good playability, good minifigures, good value for money, good looks and great fun!
The station looks brilliant. The design of the bridge is clever and the small details such as the clock, the news and route map stickers, the loudspeaker, the little shop, the slidy door, the lamposts and the flowers are fantastic additions and make the station seem more real and atmospheric. The TAXI is also small and sweet, especially with the little suitcase compartment at the back!
Another good point is that it is great fun once you have finished building it. Some sets, you can only build and then you can't do much with, and with others, there is only a limited amount you can do. But with this train station, if you have a passenger train and some track to go with it, you can make up so many story lines and create a lot of different scenarios.
This set is very easy to build, like many other city sets, making it an ideal start for a transport-loving LEGO fan! The only construction bug was that the stickers on the TAXI were very fiddely, but that is just me nit-picking.
Overall, this set is a must have for all LEGO city, trains or transportation fans and, trust me, you won't regret buying it for your collection!

" This set is good in all respects! It seems that LEGO are making more Hoth sets as of late, with the Wampa Cave comng out later this year!
THE MINIFIGURES:
Surprisingly, quite a bit to say here. All the minifigures are brilliant! Both Snowtroopers look realisitic and their helmets are fantastic. The Imperial Officer looks good too and the detail on his body was great. But I am most impressed with the all new AT-AT driver. LEGO have really excelled themselves here! The detail on its chest is amazing and the look and texture of its helmet is outstanding and unique! Overall, these minifigs are, put simply, wow!
THE COMMAND STATION
Even though the mini command station is never seen in the Empire Strikes Back, it looks cool nonetheless. Although I usually detest flick missiles, the ones that can be fired from the mini turret actually travel further than usual. The radar also looks good.
THE SPEEDER
This white speeder is rare and it looks fantastic! It is designed the same way as the brown speeder and they are essentially identical, but the differing colour really sets them apart. The Snowtrooper is easy to fit in and it looks cool.
My only complaint about this set is that it is slightly overpriced. Two years ago, battle packs costed £7.99 for the same amount of pieces, so it would be nice if Battle packs were bought back down to that price. But that point is only a very minor one and this set is a really good buy!

" Put quite simply, I bought this set for the minifigures. This is the only set to boast an ordinary Clone with phase II armour, not seen since 2007, and Barriss Offee, who LEGO have made perfectly. It is nice to see that the minifigures have not got the huge eyes we have seen from LEGO Star Wars products of late. The three droids were also great.
So what about the set itself? It's cleverly constructed and the finished product looks great. The way you can move the wheels and change their direction by moving the engine at the back is clever. However, this set is veeeery overpriced. Both the size of the product and the piece to price ratio reflect this. It should cost a maximum of £20, not £29.99. Also, the flick missiles don't work (as usual).
So, to recap:
Pros: minifigs, swamp speeder looks good, clever device to change direction of speeder
Cons: flick missiles, overpriced.
This set is good for the minifigures and it looks good, but the fact that it is overpriced lets it down.
I hope this review has been helpful.

LEGO Star Wars Classic - AT-TE Walker
LEGO Star Wars Classic - AT-TE Walker
When droids attack, it's time to call in the mighty AT-TE! This powerful 6-legged walker features details straight from the Clone Wars, including positionable legs, movable cannons, firing missiles, and armored hatches and cockpit that open to reveal the cabin and troop bay inside. Even with its flying STAP vehicle, the battle droid doesn't stand a chance against Anakin Skywalker and the clone army of the Republic! Includes Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka, Captain Rex, Clone Trooper and Battle Droid minifigures, plus Rotta the Hutt! AT-TE Walker has 2 missiles that really fire! Cannon on top rotates in all directions! Hatches open to reveal the inside cabins and troop bay with 4 seats and extra equipment! Open front to access the cockpit and to slide out the pilot seat! Measures 15.5" (39cm) long and 8" (20cm) high

" This set is great! I got it at Christmas 2008 and I love it!
PROS:
This set comes with six minifigures, including the rare Captain Rex (this is the only set where you can find him), Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, Rotta the Hutlett and a clone.
I have never liked flick missiles because you can never guarantee that they will work effectivly, so it was great to see that instead, there were two huge missiles that whooshed out like lightning at the flick of a switch. They are fast and accurate.
Also, I love the cannon at the top and the cockpit at the front. In addition, I like the way in which the side doors open up to reveal the detailed interior where all the clones can sit. The legs are detailed and sturdy and they can move a little, enabling the vehecle to slowly move forward.
The STAP is a lovely addition, even if it doesn't stand a chance against the might of the 40cm long walker! The AT-TE is good value for £70.
CONS: As usual, Lego haven't been very generous with the amount of Clones that the set provides. Only a measly two Clones are included, when the walker can seat up to eight.
This set isn't the best army builder, but it is a huge and feature-packed one nonetheless. It is a must-have for all Clone lovers, and a real addition to the army of the Republic! Overall, this set deserves 5 out of 5 "

" This set is the biggest and the most impressive set I have ever bought so far. It is full of rare colours and elements.
THE CINEMA:
The cinema is great!. It has a great colour scheme - beige, light blue and dark red - all rare colours. There are some great little features, such as the popcorn stand, the cinema screen (perhaps not exactly in proportion with the popcorn stand) and the adverts on the windows advertising the films. I am not usually a fan of stickers but in this case they are brilliant. The Cinema sign running down the side is also cool.
THE TOWN HALL
Another great building. Dark green and grey are rare colours. The clock and flower elements are good, but the railings were tedious. The inside is a bit bare, but the alter and the plants look fantastic.
THE SERVICE STATION
The best building for features. Firstly, the car wash. It is accurate and the cars manage to get through it ok. Secondly, the garage door, which is awesome. You can push the door up and down again and it is very smooth. Then, you can change its layout by opening the smaller 16x16 piece. The little shop with the food is good too.
THE OTHER STUFF
The pond is great. The benches are simple but accurate and the gold bricks are obviously impressive. Both cars are good and the petrol refill point is fantastic. The minifigures all look good too.
OVERALL
A perfect buy. A perfect celebration for 50 years of LEGO. Perfect in all respects. Buy this before it is sold out!
